Adders meet the Hearts

Haunchwood Hearts had an exciting weekend as they became the latest Haunchwood team to be mascots at Atherstone Town FC. The girls took to the field to support the Adders in their league encoutner with Shifnal Town FC.

The Hearts stole the show at half-time with an excellent show of penalties for 200+ strong crowd and their antics in front of goal clearly inspired the Adders who took a 2 goal lead just after the interval with goals from Collins and Harkin.

The girls really enjoyed their behind the scenes tour and the goody bags kindly donated from Tesco. It was an experience we are sure the girls loved and one they are looking forward to hopefully repeating again later in the season.
