Friendly Fire from Haunchwood Dragons!
📢 Coaches Match Report Friendly Game v Kenilworth U12 Titans What a performance today! Really buzzing and couldn’t be happier. Awesome display, passing was top notch from goalkeeper all the way to attack. The team took on board what Coaches have said and I would say it was WOW! All we need to do is put the oppsition players under a little bit of pressure in the game, but that can worked on in training. The first goal from little Ed. All through out the game, on the wing, cau

Tornados blowing in the right direction
Haunchwood Tornados v Stratford Town Colts We welcomed Stratford Town Colts on a beautiful sunny morning where we were fortunate enough to get the game on and the boys were in a vibrant mood. Tornados were really competitive in the first half against a really strong and capable team, with us hitting the post twice and testing their keeper with a couple of opportunities, unfortunately, we found ourselves behind at the break but still had lots to play for. Tornados came back af

Sortimo support Hearts with Life Skills Developments
With the weather starting to turn at the back end of last year matches were scarce but this didn't stop the Hearts on their life skills development programme. With the girls starting to get more and more engaged each week there was a mixed bag of events to draw out some great examples to help the girls appreciate their part in their team and learn about more than football in their journey through life. Huge thanks to Sortimo for their sponsorship making this a reality for the

Its SNOW fun for football!
With the wintery start to 2026 our teams at Haunchwood are all eager for games to go ahead. Safety must come first. We will keep our players, coaches and volunteers abreast of the lastest situation as soon as we know. We know our managers will be updating parents on games and making decisions with their safety in mind.

Everyone at Haunchwood Sports would like to wish our players, parents, sponsors, volunteers and coaches a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2026 Without you we wouldn't be able to give the gift of football to over 200 local young players. With the season break starting now its time to recharge, recover and refresh before we kick off again in January. An amazing year, with lots more highs than lows, has seen some great performances across the entire club and cham

Haunchwood Derby as Hammers face Dynamo
Top of the table Haunchwood Dynamo took on Haunchwood Hammers in a pre-Christmas cracker at Ansley on Saturday morning. A brilliant morning of football from start to finish and a real showcase of what Haunchwood sports is all about. Two top teams giving it a real go and showing great commitment and enthusiasm throughout a fantastic game. With Dynamo top of the league and flying high not many would have saw the result; a 5-1 win for the Hammers. Hammers coach Dave Parkes stat

Hawks Support Dun Roamin' Rehoming
The Haunchwood Hawks are proud to announce a new partner for the 2025-26 Season; with the addition of Dun Roamin' Rehoming to our Sponsors rosta. The team at Dun Roamin' operates as a sanctuary than a rehoming - based rescue, specialising in niche dogs with a negative behavioural history. Dragons battle on in wet conditions
Managers Post Match Review: Although the Haunchwood Dragons played a team 3 tiers above us the final score didn’t reflect the effort the Dragons gave! What a 1st half! We defended as a unit and frustrated the opposition which was really impressive. Both Craig & I said that we keep on improving which made us both proud. We just need to do a little more passing and running off the ball. The opposition manager said ‘ your lads showed great resilience and never gave up ’ Well don

Hearts continue development programme
Another month of our U10s Haunchwood Hearts development programme and some really great examples of your girls learning some key life skills through the involvement with their team: 11/10/25 - Decision Making  Faced with an academy opposition Tilly quickly found herself covering more ground down the wing and more quickly than normal. Running out of energy she made a great decision to take a breather in defence before pushing on. 18/10/25 - Interpersonal Relationship SkillsÂ

Haunchwood Remembers
Across the weekend the teams across the Haunchwood club paid tribute to our fallen servicemen. All games at Ansley on Rememberance Sunday held a minutes silence to pay respect to hero's and thanks to Poppies4kits we were able to show our support to our service men and women past and present. With the setting of the sun, we will remember them.....

Hearts make Colin pay the Penalty
Our u10s Haunchwood Hearts took part in a sponsored penalty shootout tonight to raise money for their ESF trip to Butlins in May 2026. With 146 shots finding the back of the net it was a brilliant display of power and skills. Our very own Colin the Caterpillar between the sticks is wasn't a walkover by any means and the girls had to work hard to get their goals. Maia and Matilda tied with 15 each with Matilda claiming the winners trophy after a sudden death shootout. Well don

Hawks have the confidence to act!
A foggy Sunday morning saw the Hauchwood Hawks continue their fine start to their new league with a great performance against Coventry Phoenix. With their new kit on show the Hawks really took to their friday night training plans and worked hard both in an out of possession. In a game where both teams had chances the Hawks work rate, running and movement really paid off. Manager Nick Barsby stated We spoke a lot before the game about movement and shape, the boys worked hard t

Weather is no issue for the Hornets
What amazing game of football  again for the Haunchwood Hornets  who absolutely smashed it again on Sunday and won 5-0. In foggy conditions the Hornets excelled and took a tight game by the scruff of the neck. Well done boys, you all played brilliantly. And congratulations Jacobi on man of the match
