Electrifying start for the Hawks!

Haunchwood Hawks finally managed to get their season underway this weekend with an excellent perfomance at a chilly Ansley Workshops. The boys used all the power supplied by National Grid to put in a strong start to the season.

The boys took the game by the scruff of the neck early doors and put in a resouding shift over the full match. Our friends at Weddington gave th boys a real stern test and a fun competitive mornings football was enjoyed by both sets of parents and coaches. Thanks as always to our referee, Ian, who barely had to blow his whistle all game.

Hawks Player of The Match was Jenson for his hard work in midfield and second half in goals. Special mentions for Jake, Jackson and Feddie (or Frederico as named by the coaches!) for some sterling performances too.
