A thriller of a Haunchwood derby saw United storm to a 4-0 halftime lead before the Knights nearly pulled it back in the Second Half - a great advert for Haunchwood football.

We talked a lot today about implementing what we are doing Thursdays in training

Biggest plus today was defending from the front which Jenson and Jake did brilliantly first half as did Mitch in his side which made us bully them out of the game.

Second half became chaotic again which was frustrating but it’s something we learn from. Apologies if I got frustrated today

Then a game we had to win but first half was our standard and if we can put that together again in both halves then we will be fine. Some excellent individual performances so so pleased for Jake today getting a goal Jayden distributed the ball well and set us up so so well.

Good to get a win but even better signs of our style of play coming to the table

So Glad the lads got back to Winning ways today, The score line suggests it was close & second half it was, However we could of literally been out of site at half time with great forward play.

The Boys took on what was asked of them & literally came out all guns blazing & scored some brilliant goals with Jakey bagging x1 & Jenson bagging a superb Hatrick.

Second half we got drawn into a battle but in my opinion they got lucky with their penalty decision & their defender literally plucked the ball out of the Top corner from Jaxys free kick but somehow avoided a card even though it was a certain goal.

The United Boys dug deep & defended well to see us get the 3 x points which puts us back on Top. There’s certainly still more to come from these boys but hopefully this win will kick us on again.
