Another month of our U10s Haunchwood Hearts development programme and some really great examples of your girls learning some key life skills through the involvement with their team:
11/10/25 - Decision Making
Faced with an academy opposition Tilly quickly found herself covering more ground down the wing and more quickly than normal. Running out of energy she made a great decision to take a breather in defence before pushing on.
18/10/25 - Interpersonal Relationship Skills
Building her wider friendships in the team is one Daisy’s goals for the season. When a teammate took a big hit today, Daisy was first on the scene to make sure she was ok and reassure her she could take a break and carry on.
25/10/25 - Critical Thinking
A masterclass in critical thinking from Missy who probed and tested the opposition defence in different ways to make chances for herself and her teammates. Realising that switching it up was the key to victory.
01/11/25 - Coping With Emotions
Late in the game in the face of massive adversity on the pitch, she took a five minute break to gather her emotions and reset before going back out and confirming to the opposition why they did need to overload her with players all game
07/11/25 - Self Awareness
At the start of the team’s sponsored penalty shootout Matilda was really worried about taking penalties. She quickly got involved and with some support backed herself to do well and ended up scoring the highest total from the whole squad.
